Rio de Janeiro is the host city for the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. Recently reporter has got to know from the Olympic project administration authorities that on the sites of the projects, of the 23 units of earth-moving equipment, 6 excavators and 7 rollers bear the SANY label.

In fact, far more SANY machines have been serving at the construction sites of the Brazilian World Cup and Olympic Games projects. In the construction of the Maracana Stadium, a multitude of SANY’s products, including excavators, rollers, mobile cranes, and concrete pumping machinery, has been used. As one of the venues for the World Cup, the Maracana Stadium would have a capacity of 78,000 people upon completion. The contractors have set rigorous rules, demanding that concrete pumping must last for no less than 12 hours in one go. SANY’s 32-meter and 43-meter pump trucks have withstood the test of the enormity of the task and have won wide acclaim from the contractors.
